THE BOOK OF REVELATION EXPLAINED IN UNDER 5 MINUTES!

Have you ever wondered what the book of Revelation is all about?

INTRODUCTION: And today we are talking about the book of Revelation, a book that has several different interpretations and one that many Christians avoid reading and some are even afraid to read it. But today I want to take you through a 7-fold chronological journey through the book of Revelation.

1. Background – Rev. 1:1
a. Name – The name of the book comes from the first verse, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ” which lets us know that this book is all about the unveiling or uncovering of the person, plan and power of Jesus Christ.
b. Written in 95 A.D. by the Apostle John who also wrote the gospel of John and the letters 1, 2, and 3 John

2. Letters to Churches – Rev. 2-3
a. Letters from Jesus to 7 churches in Asia minor and each church
b. Each letter exposes some aspect of the churches in that day and the modern day churches
c. These chapters represent the church age in which we currently live

3. Tribulation – Chapters 6-19 – The next thing that will happen is the church will be raptured and the tribulation will begin.
a. This represents a 7-year period of time after the church has been raptured where God allows those who are left behind one final opportunity accept Him as Savior.
b. But the catch is that , because there is no church wickedness and evil are rampant throughout this section making it very difficult for people to choose Jesus.
c. The final 3 ½ years of this period are what’s called the Great Tribulation. And man it’s gonna get bad (no drinking water, painful sores, sun will get so hot it will scorch the skin of men.”

4. The Battle – 19
a. After these things there is the battle of Armageddon. It won’t be much of a battle because Satan and his armies will be severely destroyed by Jesus.
b. Satan will be bound for 1000 years

5. 1000 year reign – Rev. 20:6 – This is the actual Second Coming of Jesus Christ. All Christians from all time will reign physically on earth with Jesus. Satan will be bound during this time so there will no demonic influence for 1000 years.

6. Judgments – Rev. 20:11-15 – Satan & every unbeliever who has ever lived will then stand before God and be judged for their sins and then cast into the Lake of Fire for eternal separation from God.

7. New Heaven & New Earth – Rev. 21:1 –
a. Interestingly enough there are only 4 chapters in the bible where there is a perfect environment (Gen. 1-2 & Rev. 21-22).
b. And so what we see here is the magnificent story of God coming full circle and God reestablishing the perfect environment that He had intended.
c. The Bible says that the earth, which is decaying every day, is not fit for eternity so God will destroy this current earth and create a new heaven and a new earth where we will dwell with Him throughout all eternity.

I hope this short video if nothing more will encourage you to study this book and see the awesome plan God has the future and most importantly that this book will give us as Christians the comfort in knowing that no matter how crazy things appear in this world that God was, is and always will be in complete control.

To accept Jesus as messiah is the way, to accept him as a demi God is disbelief. Nations who legalised sodomy and sex changes are against Jesus and God. West is satanic and bible is proof 🙂

Hey brother, This is not what revelation teaches. The anti Christ which is Satan will reign on earth during the great tribulation. Revelation 9:1-11. The 5th trumpet. Saints will not be raptured before but will go thru the great tribulation Revelation 7:13-15 & Revelation13:5-10. And Jesus will not touch the earth again but will call us up to heaven when he comes back. 1Thess. 4:13-17. We will reign in heaven for 1000years and the wicked will be dead for those 1000years. Also the tribulation doesn’t last 7 year’s but1335 Daniel 12, 42 months or 3.5 years revelation 13:5-7. Just my observation of your video. Take a look into these things and tell me what you think ?

    FALSE FALSE FALSE!!!

Everything you’re teaching you draw from man’s common interpretation of the book.

You explained it the same way as all the others who believe the way you do. You people explain revelation as if it is a chronological event when in fact it is more like a platter where the events are stacked and occuring simultaneously. Without understanding this structure, you teach and create this false back-and-forth heaven to earth transition, i.e. saints leave, saints come back, then saints leave again, then come back again. SERIOUSLY?

The vision of the entirety of this book took place in one night in one dream for the apostle John. All the events unfolded before he woke the next day. The vision he received from Jesus was just repetition of the same events simultaneously.

And let me add one more thing. I’m miffed and don’tunderstand this thing you did Like all the others who attempt to teach Revelation. Like so many of them, you avoid teaching or mentioning the 4th and 5th chapters of this book as you demonstrated in this YouTube video. Why? Are scared? Do you think it’s irrelevant? I don’t Get it or maybe you don’t get it. But let me help you.

My friend, the 4th and 5th chapters are the most important chapters in all of Revelation for it is there where you discover that GOD and JESUS are responsible for unleashing all of the famine, pestilence, war, and the beast upon humanity. Yes, they are RESPONSIBLE and not man. This thing is God and Jesus is just repeating what they did to Egypt.

I hope this helps. This is just a litle wisdom to improve your understanding about this marvelous book that details the controlled destruction of humanity by God and Jesus.

Some folks are asking, “If the church is raptured out, who then is going to be persecuted?” Let’s not forget that there will be 144,000 servants of God (12,000 from each tribe) and 2 prophets of God that will testify about God and do His work during this time. Numerous people will be saved but face terrible persecution.

My question is why would it be necessary for the church to be part of the tribulation? Why would the church be part of that judgement? That wouldn’t make sense since our penalties have already been paid for. The wrath of God is going to pour out on the earth. Paul said, “For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Also, the church is known as Christ Bride. What groom puts his bride through judgement before marrying her?

Chapter 6-19 is not the tribulation most think. The tribulation has passed since AD 70. Also, revelation was written before Nero died. Revelation reveals that. Ask me where?

Revelation means to reveal something that was known at one time but has been lost in the history.Such is a ancient oral saga and history kept in a family from Finland. This saga was passed down from generation to generation in oral tradition as things were before we used the writting system we know know today. It is the true story of Hel.In the year 1050 Pope Leo the 9th sent a mercenary of 30,000 men to go and destroy Hel.

Brother thank you for this video. I grew up in a southern Baptist church and just recently learned of and am beginning to understand the events of the end times. Why do preachers leave this stuff out? It’s confusing for us that have grown up in church yet have not heard of this until adulthood. Thank you for this message and I ask that you pray for me personally as I continue to learn about the end times. God bless you.

god has control over human history. so im guessing our life choices and feats arent really our doing, and once we die nothing we have done will matter in the end. sounds fun

Thank you. That was a good, quick explanation. PRAISE God!!! Come quickly Lord Jesus!!! You liberals left on earth can then let ALL the Muslims across the borders of the U.S. Everyone will have what they always wanted. Christians who love Jesus will be with Him for Eternity. All the rest of the world who never wanted anything to do with Him will eternally be without Him!!!

The Bible has so many contradictions that it is almost comical.
it’s pretty funny to call a Savior someone that would wipe out the entire planet to start a new one .
